deep within the vast abandoned mines sleeps the synthaxe, untouched by time. through the oracle, king lee begets vision of its crystal chamber.

in his search for the synthaxe, king lee falls victim to the nimbus lotus, and goes into a comatose state, an eternal dream from which he cannot wake. his body is taken by poltergeists to the tomb of Cyprus, and he is never seen again.

without king lee, the knights of sound lost their morale and disbanded. the lord Nefren continued to rule malevolently, destroying Girania with his greed. he remained in his palace at the centre capitol, growing obese and ever more greedy.

in the end, it wasn't a great hero, a fierce battle, or a great weapon that defeated the tyrant lord, but an improperly swallowed slice of mango.
he died, consumed by his own gluttony and greed, and his rule dissolved quickly following.
